Virginian Governor keeps BGW / WCUSA closed

Sprits are down in Virginia tonight. BGW and WCUSA still unable to open as Virginia gets ready to start Phase 3 on
July 1, 2020.

The Park President said the Phase 3 restrictions make opening unsustainable.

During a pandemic its better to be overly cautious rather then ignore the problem. I get you probably are one that goes "If I get sick oh well I will call out a few days", but that doesn't mean the seaworld/bg leadership team hasn't caused their own problems. Denying that means you have your head in the sand.

Overly cautious during a pandemic? I'd rather a state be overly cautious unlike Texas and Florida where cases and hospitalizations are skyrocketing.

Actually, our Governor and his team are the problem. The restrictions placed on amusement parks affect not only BGW, but also Kings Dominion (Six Flags). Senior Leadership have been very engaged with the local and state governments since the start, however the state government has been overly cautious since the beginning. Btw, this is the same Governor who wore black face and had his picture taken next to a person in a koutfit.

So I feel for those that aren't going back to work yet, though the part of the article I find amusing is the entertainment comments.

I'm sorry we have spent how many years now putting in ONLY entertainment type things across all the parks AND continue to have "entertainment" in the company name and you are confused as to why we are getting lumped in with others? The people running this place are dense.
