Hi folks - former poster here:
Field announcements included that 4 Zone HQs will replace 14 regions.
Below are some upcoming announcements pertinent to Sales Distribution, Marketing, Finance Please do not ask about other departments as I do not know details, but can corroborate 3,700 earmarked for elimination, excluding ES & other ALL-owned companies. Cuts in nearly every department, and across other companies as well.
*Four Zones, with elimination of most distribution manager roles - TSL (State or Territory managers), RSL (known as one of 14 managers in charge of all sales), and FVP (field VP) all cut, and FSL/FDS (known as recruitment leader) changing drastically.
- Former RSL, TSL, FVP will apply for similar Zone leader jobs, but far fewer available. Rumor is these have pretty much been selected.
- FSL capacity cut aprx 50%, loss of company car, budget (available in some regions)
- All roles will reapply for jobs as review commences in July
- Field manager bonuses cut drastically. Levels currently include targets of 43% upwards of 55% of Salary - with VP including stock options. All cut to be in line with industry. FSL target, for example, 13.9%, payable Q1 2021
- Other ancillary business units under review, this NTK (Need to know). Fears of full cut - ABI, Allstate MC, etc etc
*HO marketing will experience very few cuts, and Zones will consume regional budgets, but at limited level. Cuts in personnel aprx 40%. Discretionary budget going down over $12M annually, across 14 regions
- Similar reduction in personnel as 14 regions consolidate to 4
- Manager role reduced from Band F to E. Zone targeted personnel ~6-8
*HO finance personnel reduction targeted at 40%, with most reduction coming from Bands D and above
- Follows same zone logic as described above in field
- Regional finance underwent RIF in 2019; mostly spared
*HO departments or AoRs supporting the field & distribution will see major impact. Info NTK
Company begins to look to make a major move towards moving into the IA space.
Stay safe & God bless. Look for your Option B before too late.
