If you’re in stores there’s a chance it would have been a very late email. So many associates to get to! It does s— that you were waiting all day. Rumor was it was thurs and Friday. They’re not done communicating.

The company usually contacts the go forward colleagues first to ensure they accept the new position, and will come back.
If not, then they move on down the line to someone that otherwise would have been laid off
Just received my lay-off email. How cruel to make people wait until 5pm to know their fate. I would like to say that I’m surprised, but I’m really not.
Thoughts and prayers to everyone was impacted by this.
Was just called and laid off. Calls aren’t over yet.
