When we need media coverage of smaller layoffs that keep happening over and over again we get none. Now, when negative publicity is not a consideration - probably because everybody is doing it amid a pandemic and they can get away with it - the layoffs are all over the media.

And that would accomplish what? Most companies that were shut down have laid off or even reorganized. Even hospitals had done it, in particular smaller ones in rural areas.

I can perform better than 60 % to 70 % H1B people retained by the company. This is not fair. Keeping H1b and laying off citizens. An open interview is a better option by 3rd party company.
