I have seen a lot of info on MTM/OAPM/VM becoming one position called OVM. Does this mean there will only be one person in the job or could there be multiple? Also, does anyone know how they are deciding who goes into this position and who gets laid off? Years of service? Annual review?

The store manager decides although they have no idea of who will actually perform the role the best. What a joke
Unfortunately there will be no merit increase for this position. Possible fallout from existing MTM, VISUAL or OPs on whoever is offered the position. A true Hunger Games.
