The big M must have been happy for the opportunity to furlough everyone for the perfect chance to not take people back. Check the age group of people. Nothing is ever by chance so read between the lines.

Not sure if you’re Corp or stores. But from what I know it’s been Many different age groups and different levels.
Stop inciting fury. They did take this associates title away, but no salary reduction. The associate is grateful for the opportunity and to have the same team intact. Celebrate with this associate; positive outlook, two years from retirement and perhaps he/she can lead their piers through a couple rough roads ahead.
They cant take your title away and expect you to still do the same job discription as a lead. Its unfair. Especially if youre on the same level as a regular associate now. Especially if that associate is over here doing 1/4 of the work as you.
No change in the job description at all. Our support team has always done everything from signing, markdowns, fulfillment and unloading the trucks. As a RTW lead I was told everything will remain the same without the title which is fine with me.
With the lead title dropped, will you assume the same responsibilities as before?
My position is going forward along with all of our support staff. I was a lead but now that title is being dropped. No change in salary or hours. Most of us are mid 50’s to 60 years old with most of us with 15 years of service. I have 29 years of service. I am happy and hopefully will be able to retire in a couple of years. I was not looking forward to having to look for another job.
