This is the real deal. Layoffs will happen at the end of July, and not the week following 4th of July. Lists have been prepared, and word is 10% target cuts. Good luck everyone.

Is this fur reels? Please do needful to confirm.
Why would the Chairman be involved in this process? That makes no sense whatsoever.
MDs and TLs worked on the initial recommendations together. This was then sent up to their VP, who rolls it up to their SVP, and finally up to the EVPs. Ultimately this goes up the CEO, who then passes it by the Chairman.
Do you know what level made the lists? VP, MD, etc? And any thoughts on why layoffs were moved back a few weeks?

I'm the original poster, and can attest, avow, swear, and confirm that I have NEVER posted before now. This is a new original post, and the date and target numbers are accurate and correct.
First off, I think this is happening "fur reels". Fur reels this time. Second, for the other posters that have doubt, that is natural. Lets just hope that we can all do the needful to correct you doubt. Fur reels homes. Fur reels.
These people are dumb. We have several pages of job openings currently. You would see a hiring freeze if this was the case.
