I’ve enjoyed my time at Macy’s. Made it through many rounds of layoffs. Super grateful for everyone I’ve worked with and met. Definitely bittersweet but onto the next chapter. I really hope Macy’s comes up with a better solve for the stores! They need help and extra hands.

It sounds like SM and CEM are the same just a different title to better align with customer service portion of job.
Either way, you should get severance.
I am still trying to understand if SM and CEM is same. Or I should have get severance offered? Please clarify anyone. Should I contact HR? Please help if you are a sales manager?
