Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Why can't you mind your own business?

80% of the comments here are complaining about who is making how much money, who gets bonuses, who calls off, who gets promoted, etc.

All things that do not affect your life at all. Not your bank account, not your pay, not your responsibilities at work.

what's worse is, half of you have so much to say about leads and managers but don't have the fortitude to go for a position in leadership yourself.

MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

People need to worry about their own jobs instead of everyone else's.

The LAST thing I would want to do in life is to be taken advantage of like most managers, assistant managers and team leads are at any place associated with Walmart! No thank you!

Yes, it is my business. If I have to keep doing the job of two or three people due to the fact that its the same people calling out all of the time. Not just a day here and there...….they take a week at a time because their "mental" state is wearing them down (or some other bs excuse) They are working the system even more during this virus c-ap. But yet they get the same 2% and the same bonuses. (how is that right?) It affects morale in the building when mgmt. can't or won't do anything about it. The ones that show up when scheduled or get called in to cover the absent workers shift are the ones being pushed to the limit. The company needs to get back on the attendance track and hold people accountable! The company needs to go back to individual evaluations based on performance and knowledge. The company needs to base any bonus money on hours worked.

It is in fact every single associates business who is being promoted, who is not coming in, who has keys to everything and who can look at HR records especially when it's usually only a team lead...who by the way is usually given that job due to favoritism and not due to their ability. So it doesn't matter whether someone "goes for it or not".

Someone calling out does affect the other associates in the department he/she works in. If a meat cutter calls out on the day a shipment comes in you now have to put the load up and cut meat for the case with no help. If a deli associate calls out and another person isn't scheduled for that day the opening associate the next day has to play catchup because of it. No, pay isn't different but that person has caused extra work for the next associate so yes it is my business. Dumb a..!
