About a year ago my manager pulls me as side with a fake complaint from a customer . She then says this is big deal and it had to go to hr and it’s really bad. You could get fired over this. She then begins to say hr might have to move me out of shoes and put me in a non commission area . My reply was if I get moved I’m gonna quit with out the commissions. It’s not worth my time or energy for this place . At that point I was tired of the place . She then says she sending the complaint to hr and said me and my two other older coworkers will be also moved out of commissions shoes So then I said why they had nothing to do with this. ? After I threatened to quit if I was moved I never heard another word about this so called complaint! It was all made up to move me out of a commission area and my other two older coworkers. I figure their plan was not to pay me my big hourly wage which I worked blood sweat and tears for ! Selling 600k a year in shoes with no help from runners or anyone else. I busted my a– day in day out running up and down stockroom steps blowing out my back and shoulders. Being Physically and mentally drained. In hindsight they was planning on taking away the only reason I worked at Macy’s the commissions. They tried to force me to move out of my department into hourly. All that mental stress came to a close yesterday when they laid me off. There is no future for any type of advancement or big commissions checks anymore. Coworkers that are left said the commissions will be prorated to hourly being that the biz will no longer be there my point is what is the Incentive for these ones that are left making $11 an hour to strive to my level? There’s no carrot at the end of the string any more. If they sell like I did they will be let go for making too much. So why even try ?

LMAO @ the suggestion to go to SIS. They are notoriously good at gaslighting and do not solve any cases beyond theft.
To the person who asked “why didn’t you complain to solutions in-store”...every HR department, Macy’s or otherwise, is not your friend. They are there for one reason and one reason only, minimize legal liability for the company.
I remember the one time I complained when a coworker accused me of stealing computer equipment (he was a constant troublemaker and endlessly looking to pull himself via pulling other people down with lies) the end result after it was discovered that he had nothing to pin on me was that he was “coached”. He did finally stop harassing me, but only because he realized I wasn’t an easy target and was promoted out of my department a few months later.
Let me repeat, HR is not your friend...office politics and the buddy system is what takes care of people at this company and I’m sure it will continue until the day Macy’s crumbles.
I did open a case against lp and head of lp cover the whole thing up. They left me alone. I also reported the the lp kid who keep accusing me of everything to corporate. He also chased a crook into the parking lot and almost caused a 3 car pile up. Head of security blame it on the new security guard and he got fired for it but nothing happened to the lp assistant manager. Who is the one who chased the guy into parking lot. It’s all political
Why didn't you open a complaint with Solutions In Store when this happened? You allowed yourself to be bullied and be treated unethically, especially when your co-workers were threatened. SIS case would have initiated an investigation and interviews of all parties involved.

It's unfortunate that you lost your job but aren't you happy to not have to deal with the gaslighting, lies, and deception anymore? Trust, you will find a company that will be glad to have an associate who can produce 600k in sales alone, and compensate you accordingly.
