Like many Supervisors, I've been placed in a Captain position. Has anybody been given information on what exactly this position is? My store was very vague about it-I got the impression there wasn't really a lot of information about it they had. Since it is now part of the general sales team bucket (as opposed to Executive position like Supervisor was) is our vacation time affected? Do we lose time ( executive definitely had more PTO than general selling team). With a CEM present, what does that leave as our duties?

Captains and Leads are gloried colleague. You’re not executives but they expect you to act as such but not pay you for it.
Did you get offered a new pay rate? And what area did you have as a Supervisor, and what area will you "Captain" ?
You'd better get all this answered before you accept the demotion!
You will lose the Its your time as well since that was for executives. And the 6months short term disability .
I was told that your PTO will be affected as well as your hours. You will no longer have the incentive as a Supervisor for Path to Growth but rather it will be as a colleague. PTO will now be accumulated by the amount of hours you work like a regular colleague.
They have a vague job description is all. No one is holding back information.
