Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

July 1

Have heard Sales VPs and more “redundancy” in middle management may be done away with sooner rather than later. July 1 has been said a lot on this site. Will anything happen this week?

I'm not on sales side but with all sales managers, do we need a VP of sales? Our core President does 1 on 1 with sales managers. We also have a GM, nobody knows what he does. Maybe I'm wrong but I would bet those 2 salaries are proportionately higher then 90% of staff.

If you go back and look at some of the post at the beginning of 2019.. many early early “rumors” did turn out to be true.
Cores consolidated - check
Presidents eliminated- check
“Call centers won’t go away”- Hahahaha

Who cares about middle management.. why is the sales team not worried about the sweeping comp plan changes. Every core has a different comp for every role .
This will change right alongside us moving everything to Salesforce. With Salesforce, you don’t need local sales managers covering 6 people.

I have to say 85% what gets reported on here is true or soon to be true, the accounts receivable over 60 days is staggering, expect more cuts!!
