For the comment:
"Hearing that Safra wants 50% of Branch or Territory ..."
Wow, you are that stupid to hope ppl believes that you are hearing from Safra ? How else can you start such an inept rumor?

To the poster of "if some middle management dinosaurs gets filtered", first basic grammar: "dinosaurs" is plural which means that the verb should be in agreement namely "get":

"If some middle management dinosaurs get filtered ..."

Second I recommend you look for the dinosaurs higher up not in middle management which is typically scapegoated by executive management to distract from its incompetence and lack of vision for the company other than money maker.

VK has no people skills and knows diddly squat about how sales work. This is DJ washing hands off VK and KB and the lot.

It can't be turned around. We've been re-orging every year for what, 5 years or more now? Yes there are problems with all parts of the sales org, but they are just one of many, many problems within Oracle. For starters, the stupidity of separate apps and tech orgs is unbelievable. Tech and associated cloud services are no longer competitive on their own, though if dragged as part of apps deals would certainly move more cloud services revenue. ...and none of that speaks at all to products that don't work, appalling cloud-based UIs (apps and tech both), and a company that is just plain sidficult for customers to work with.

For employees who have not yet cut bait, one of the first questions a prospective employer is going to ask you is "why have you stayed at Oracle so long?" Think hard before you answer. Is it because you are no longer technically relevant? Is it because you like being able to hide in a large org? The longer you stay at Oracle the worse your job market prospects will be.

Overhaul of SC & Sales org is need of the hours. I have no doubts that Oracle cloud is here to stay. I have seen how OCI org works. The same change will be propagated to SE & Sales Org as well. The company would be run by DJ in the end

Hearing that Safra wants 50% of Branch or Territory SC's be axed. (There are 800 in Inderjeet's Org as of today). Vinay bringing his 100 people and will replace some of them. Specialist SC's are good for now is what I am hearing. ECA's or Branch SC's are in trouble. If some middle management dinosaurs gets filtered, then it is good for oracle in the long term. Eventually this all will come under Don Johnson I believe. The guys from Vinay's team are 90% Ex AWS, Azure and thoroughly hate the legacy Oracle SC's sitting in Inderjeet's Org.

Coming into an org that is hurting from slashed bonuses and attrition. Good luck, hope we can turn the sales org around
