Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Lay-off of experienced engineers

Knowing that there are companies which were in worse Financial shape than Honeywell was even before COVID-19, they have less layoffs than Honeywell has. Honeywell started Lay-off by only looking into what is in it for me for a short time They laid off many people who had many years of experience and were probably amongst highest paid employee.

10+ years, Phoenix Eng, very talented IMO. When I got the boot yesterday my manager who has been around for 2 years said “well you have worked at Honeywell for a while so you know about layoffs”. I was thinking, did I seriously just get told this is something I am used to so it’s not a big deal for me? What remains is a department of three people. There is absolutely nothing normal about that in the last 50+ years for that job function. Best of luck to those who are shocked like to be on the outside.
