Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

PTO

Anyone know when we are supposed to get our PTO paid out to us who lost our jobs? I went on insite but it didn’t show it on the paychecks section.

"days that we banked"
You didn't have these days banked.
You had those days eligible for 2020.
You have an accrued amount of 1/12 each full month worked in 2020. Considering we had Feb and part of March, that wasn't much when we closed.
Furlough time not counted so when you returned you had some of that eligibility deducted. If you never returned you had even more deducted.

Only those in California allowed carryover from last year, those days belonged to the associates and would have been paid out plus this year's accrued time. I think they earn at 1/52, not 1/12.

Final pay states. Was paid out on 6/30. Even for the managers that were demoted to captains that stayed.

From what I gather they are taking away most of the days that we banked because we were all on furlough.PTO Payouts vary by state with different employment laws.

When I was laid off 2 years ago, I didn’t receive a PTO payout because I got severance.

Probably next pay period payday, except in final pay states.

Terms were processed yesterday and today, so everything should hit the next payday.

Final pay states have to pay on the last day worked.
