Report UHG/UHC/Optum to The EEOC and NY times!

Make sure you report age, race, religion discrimination to the EEOC!! No matter how much these racist folks donate to say “Look, I’m not racist!” It’s not going to work!

Even if you’re still employed there, don’t be afraid to go through this simple process. Also if you’re already gone, PLEASE make sure to file also!. Think about people you know that are dealing with this and scared to speak up!!

That company is the worst! Top performances, great reviews, but if you won’t bow down to them and kiss up you have a target on your back! They bully you and think you will cave in! I definitely didn’t as I was FED UP, racist management, nepotism, and the Employee surveys are a joke! They need one for the horrible unqualified managers they promote! What a joke of a company who promotes such how values! Karma is coming!

Ethics’s take a bit as they have to investigate Make sure you notate any witnesses you have as well, so they can contact them. Also keep a paper trail as well. It helps for sure!

I have called HR over my own boss d/t inappropriate racial comments. HR still has the ticket open dragging their feet. Its terrible!

Sounds like a lot of us are in the same boat, but due to the fear of retaliation or being laid off, We became silent. Yet, with how things are going with lay-offs, our time is coming sooner rather then later. I’m sure.
They discriminate. The racism is rampant in each department ! As a man of color I’m excluded from meetings, and pertinent information that you need for Production metrics and goals. I’m educated, but not treated like I am. Yes, I’ve reported to Ethics, Thank you for EEOC info and NY times. I’ve had enough of the bullying as a grown man. I’ve spoke to Ethics before with very minimal resolution.

If we come together someone will listen. I hope

@7phx+15JqW84u I do see what you mean! They outsource so many jobs in each and every department to India, Ireland and the Philippines, but want to keep that hush hush! Then post new req# only to hire someone outside the US or they NEVER backfill those role! They pay the workers outside the US MANY pay grades lower! But like the saying goes “You Get What You Pay For”. But that’s just causing the ones still there to constantly fix others mistakes and work 2-3 additional roles. It’s so Unethical! All while they preach about their Integrity and Compassion. Lol
it’s worth anything at this point! Any news outlets or social media outlets. Glassdoor or Indeed company reviews-but I do see how those tend to get removed somehow. How convenient!

It’s just horrible to see high performers, good employees being let go! But they keep promoting their friends and family members who can’t meet goals, speak to the coworkers not in their cliques horribly and this is allowed.

I know when most are gone with this company, They want to wash their hands and just move on. But if a lot of people will stand up and speak. I think we could all make a movement. Like I said it’s worth a try at this point. Really anything is!

Spot on for ethics complaints! No CEO should make 50 million!! Diversity and cultural is a joke. Filed and waiting! Can’t silence US all!! I’m sure Humana would love to know they aren’t hiring for positions, but pocketing that money. It’s about to hit the fan!

Yes they most definitely discriminate and are racist!!! I worked in RQNS for several years and left on my own to do this unethical company!
If you’re their family or friend they don’t care if you know or can do the job. Leadership needed to be led to water! What an absolute joke that place was!

I foresee a lawsuit coming their way and this making the news! Those donations they make to save face won’t hold up.

100% agree with this! I worked in RQNS.
The managers have their favorites for sure or hire their friends/family members who can’t do the job at all, also can’t meet goals, the leads can’t meet goals. But it’s ok. Because they are besties and family! SMH! And because they s— up to the higher ups and discuss drinking all day, even in meetings they get away with it! This corporation is truly disgusting! But what should we expect in all honesty when Wichmann was involved in the Enron scandal!!!
Definitely contact anyone who will listen! That place was such a joke!!

To @gyx+15JqW84u I’ll use your words... Nah they do discriminate. Don’t you find it odd that all of a sudden they want to have these monthly meetings now about “Diversity “ right after George Floyd was murdered?
Also I never said I was let go! HA
I have also witnessed with my own eyes racism with upper management involved in this behavior. They now want to promote “Diversity “, but we all know the higher ups are in the “Good Ole Boy club” If you don’t think this company discriminates based on race, age, religion, or disability then your eyes are truly not open or your in the same club as them!

We all are aware that inappropriate relationships, hiring/rewarding practices, discrimination for race, age, gender, s-xual orientation... etc. exist in this organization. Not sure if this current push for diversity awareness program is to correct the issues, pretending to care (like the surveys) or looks good on paper. Please don't come on here insulting our intelligence by lying and calling out the original poster thinking you are going to sway our decisions to file or report infractions.
