Was that supposed to be funny?
The masks are only required because of all the frowns on peoples faces from seeing all the co workers getting axed.
Masks only required when you can't keep 6 feet apart. Yet, not required in a locomotive cab. Also, if you have a grinding, burning, or welding shield on, you are not required to wear a mask.
Haven’t heard anything about masks, they gave us a single cloth mask a few months ago. Agree it will be a festival of management handing out Start Minors for mask use!
Wonder if they’re enforcing it in Detroit. They furloughed enough guys that it’s pretty much one person per shift on the fuel pad now. Making consists, cleaning, fueling, daily dispatching and switching locomotives. One person. Why wear a mask if you’re working by yourself.
Same here what a joke.
This will be a convenient tool for the company to use to hand out discipline. Look for the memo outlining exactly how and when to wear it as well as approved mask types. They’ll be nailing people left and right just as they would for safety glasses being on top of your head or slid down your nose. Surprising it has taken this long for them to come up with the idea.
What craft? Can't walt until I light the torch with a mask on. Sparks get everywhere you know
