Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

I thought cloud was our future

So how about investing in that future instead of gutting it with cuts?

Oracle has no cloud future. The cash is being squandered on stock buy backs to prop up LE’s finances. LE doesn’t even believe anything needs to be funded. His public statements show that he believes that cloud is just marketing spin.

He’s been running Oracle for years and making huge piles of money without lifting a finger. He can’t even understand why that’s not working anymore.

Cloud is definitely the future for customers, it's just not the future for ORCL.

ORCL has no future.

In western beliefs, your soul ends up in the clouds after you die.

Western religions in general believe in the resurrection of the body.

DOA/NPA CLOUD FRAUD. Class action lawsuit pending wit hearing scheduled for September. Also, the Netsuite BS acquisition is still pending and LE/SC will most likely be paying claw backs because they grossly inflated the price of Netsuite so LE could increase his personal stake in Netsuite. Think about it, LE screws Oracle's balance sheet for personal gain. Such a bad person.....along with SC.

EBS customers do move to the cloud, just not our’s. Fusion is so bad, even after a decade of not investing in EBS, it still works better than Fusion for most of our customers. In any healthy company, SM would have been kicked to the curb many years ago. Someone like that can only survive in a dysfunctional environment like Oracle.

I was told that in 2014 when they laid me off. I was EBS, k–ling the numbers 10 years straight, right up until they let KB go. How’d that turn out? Hurd was an id–t, but I guess a good tennis partner... Safra said in the last Earnings call that less than 7% of EBS customers have moved to Oracle cloud, to date. In six years? That’s either the worst app ever created, or the new sales org can’t sell. Maybe both. Gee, when you let the people who built that Success go, and brought in the kids, what did you think was going to happen? Duh!
