Well, well. . . I guess the new F-150 came to give some boosting. Great truck, great thinking. Really impressive. That's what it is all about.

Our management will find some way to F the launch up. Nothing has changed from the Explorer/Aviator launch fiasco.
@5czh; in trucks you want the power-band to be flat, and you want the HP and torque to peak within 3500-4200 rpm, something the coyote engine does not do. It’s an efficient car engine for like a “Mustang”, but the technical advancements is overkill and costly for a truck customer unless you just plan on carrying grass clippings to the dump site. All of our Competitors have bigger displacement V8 engines than Coyote in Trucks, but none of them make more hp/lit and more torque/lit than Coyote. None of them are as efficient as Coyote. Please google it. Coyote has been in the production for a while with no issues. I guess people who don't know about the engines are trying to argue here and are comparing banana with apples.
Pumping sunshine. It is a city truck that has features our competitors already had.
I saw a new Ford F150. I didn’t want to take my eyes off it!! Great job to those who contributed. I hope its a success.
@2oup; In case you didn’t know real truck drivers look for towing and payload capacity. High tech OHC engines is not it. They need reliable engines with displacement, that provides torque to do work, not high tech HP. The coyote was not designed as a truck engine. There are better engines in the lineup that are a better choice.
@4oyv+15KsYKZS That's an every brand issue. No one on here wants to talk about Rams, silverados, Kias, and BMWs spontaneously bursting into flames or Teslas being MILES behind everyone in problems during the first 90 days of ownership. All these SRDed peeps just want to google "why is Ford bad" to reaffirm their current emotional feelings.
I would wait a year or so after it is on the market. Wait for all the recall notices to come out. Make sure the steering wheel is not in danger of detaching (like on the Fusion) or the clutch getting broken (Fusion again). Ford needs to test their vehicles better or have their employees put it out on the road for a test drive before putting it out on the market. We are talking about human lives at stake here!
I am surprised that no one is talking about the V8 engine technology for 2021 F-150. It may be because Ford marketing dont know about it or hasn't advertised it properly. This V8 is designed with someone of the most advance engine tech package our competitors across the town can only think of. They still use age old engine tech developed 50-20 years back. I guess when people will drive 2021 F-150 they will not be aware that they have got one of the most advance engine tech package under the hood which is not available in any of the competitor trucks. I would say since owning an Apple or Samsung doesn't completely define a person's personality, in the same way screens do not define trucks. Its the inside which makes a difference, however inside is the most difficult part to know as well.
Throw a Steelcase Desk in the bed, and I’ll think about it lol.
Volkswagen can’t wait to add the F-150 to their global product offering. It’s coming.....
So big deal. The current one dominates the business too and that still isn’t enough to fix the mess that Ford is in
You go ahead and throw your money away buying a new F150.
I will buy a 5 year old used truck for 50% less than what you paid new and then drive it until it dies.
When I buy a five year old truck all the fancy new gadgets will have already failed, but I don’t give a hoot. I use a truck as a truck. I don’t drive a truck for promoting a false image of myself.
New trucks are for the perpetually broke crowd.

The new screen is so innovative our competitors stole it and put it in their vehicles before us.
