A company that has corridor managers calling the shots without knowing what shots they called. The incompentence in the corridor mgr pool is laughable. Typical for UP and Omaha though tbh.

Sounds like more potential whistleblowers for sub committee hearings.

LVL99, I am sorry about what happened to you and all the others today. Corporate greed is a terrible thing and it has hurt many good people. I am afraid this is the world we live in now that corporations do not value or care for their employees. The rail industry is not the only ones doing this. My neighbor works for BP and they are cutting 10000 employees. He has over 30 years and has been offered 6 months salary to leave. If he doesn’t take it, he will probably be let go and receive nothing. It is sad what’s happening in our country now.

I received a phone call today to notify me of the lay-off due to UP2020. Not the combo desk, not the fear of unionizing, just UP2020.

No violations - multiple test lately, good velocity, logical dispatchery. 5 years with the company, held positions such as: Conductor, Carman, ARASA Mechanical Ops, MGR II of a 400 employee shop, and then came to dispatching to stop moving every year.

Well, here is to the next gig. Thanks for the 55k I suppose.
