Read the reviews! India & other non-US sites get rewarded for posting positive (bogus) reviews. Check delve (global employee list) against names to confirm, I did. Other than that HR trolls love posting there anonymously. They probably get $$$ Bravos for doing this. The Engineering pulse survey showed that no one would recommend Honeywell to anyone as a good place to work. JE (vp) responsible for survey (and poor ratings) quit prior to being cut.
@3nnx, what happened with Glassdoor? I was gonna go over there and state reality, but noticed that the reviews were tame and the company had a 3.8 rating out of 5, which is frankly impossible.
@1ste, yeah! that would be too much cost and effort! Er...hang on, someone’s at my Glassdoor...
Use a VPN if you are worried about them finding you, but I doubt they care unless you post threats here.
@1uxo, nice job of thinking but there's an idea that is unlikely to happen because they would have to spend money to procure that software and pay someone to run the analyses.
Or lexical analysis (statistics applied to written words). They have access to years of your emails. Running analysis of those emails would build a fingerprint that could then be searched for in these posts.
Combined with a form of fusion, the machines had found all the scapegoats they would ever need.
So please take note that since thelayoff.com started the pop up ads; that an ad ‘could’ be placed by someone who would provide the IP address of the poster. Not beyond Honeywell to do this.
I’m not rooting for the collapse of the company, even thought I left a few years back. I still carry a grudge against ALT for setting my career back and stealing my most productive years into their pockets. They lie, cheat, and steal. What they do to employees is worse. F’em.
And, as many old narrow minded a-holes I ran into, they don’t deserve this fate either. They built the place and I still respect that. ALT doesn’t, do you?
What you are seeing here is an outlet where people can post what they really think. Unlike Glassdoor where honeywell has the right to get the poster's information.
The fact is that many here want change, and yes some laid off posters need to vent. But this is a well known site. It speaks volumes that this company has so much regular and frequent posting. Much larger companies, in the same industries, have not upset their employees this much. You should be asking what the heck is Honeywell doing wrong. And if you can't see anything, then likely you haven't worked elsewhere and just dont know what you don't know.
@jga, pandemic aside, it's more accurate to say that your target audience would like to see the scum at the top pressure-washed away and replaced with leaders who have and demonstrate respect for the company's products and the people that produce them, and are committed to making HW great again, independent of the stock price. An unrealistic wish, perhaps, but one from the heart.

OP, Going off on people who are in fear of losing their jobs or have already lost them hits a special level of LOW. The enemy here isn't each other, but rather the decision makers who have gleefully raked bits of skin, hair, and muscle from us over the years so that many of us are too beaten down to fight back or go look for greener pastures. Go practice your rooster act in a barnyard.
I agree with this comment and makes me wonder why you are here to read it. You must be a young future shaper drinking the HW cool aide, maybe an HR leader that is responsible for managing the HW image? Good luck with that! While there is a lot of ranting and raving here, where there is smoke, there is fire. I worked for HW for 13 years and there is no denying, this used to be a good company, but in the last 5 years or so, poor leadership has really impacted how employees view this company. I am very happy I am longer part of this. The future path of this company will only turn more employees away and force people to be Riffed or leave. Key stat, recent leadership conference of Madsens team.......96% would not recommend HW to friend or family......WOW, these are the folks making the most money......that's why this site exists......leaders at HW s— and they are not qualified to take the bull by the horns, just the way MM likes it......bobblehead leadership......maybe a book of this title is next????

Untrue. I found that reading these post keep me informed what is happening at each site and discover which sites have been hit so I can reach out to my colleagues for camaraderie. Sometimes we cant control what happens to us, but we can find ways to cope and being informed is one of those mechanisms.
If your premise is accurate, what does that say about you, OP? Since you're obviously on this site as well, what kind of tool are you?
The HR and "management" trolls could be in for a nasty surprise one day, whether it's here or on another social media site. All the people who are now gone, well, many of them know where the proverbial bodies are buried. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of that unwashed, dirty laundry hung out to dry before too long - much to the chagrin of past and current members of the ALT.
