What if I just don't feel good that day , you mean to tell me I have to waste money for a doctors excuse just because they don't believe me.

A note has always been "required" to show as sick. Some places are just more lenient than others but this isn't new.

Make as much as you can before they cut you!!!?? Do you hear yourself? How are they going to cut your job when they need you to run trains? They can’t very well cut all their T&E people without not actually being able to run trains and make money for the company!!!

So do you just bring the doctor to work with you next time you show up? Man, this is stupid. I thought it was expensive enough to visit their facility, now askimg them to come to your place of business to explain you are/were sick is going to be very costly.

Marking off when they are short is always the best and the most satisfying and also saves jobs. Even the crooked axman they have now isn’t going to pull the trigger on cuts when trains are sitting still. Screw them. Mark off, enjoy the holiday. It’s not your fault they s— at running a business.

This is the beginning of the second half and only 6 more months to get the operating ratio to where they promised it would be. The cuts aren’t over and maybe you’ll be ok but some are dead men and women walking and might as well make all they can before getting the boot.
