One big new innovative HPE strategies recently for New Products was a verbatim copy of

A lot of money being paid to the HPE Executive team to COPY Amazon and trememdous payout for information you could have easily obtained for free off the web.

Product Lifecycle Management was implemented across HPE over the past 2 years. This group was viewed as a Non Value added group added to the companies inability to execute. This group led by Phil Davis and his team "stole" the Amazon approach to new products. The Product Lifecycle Management group also believed the bogus awarding / recognition of employees fin "Unicorns" of the week which was just plain crazy.

What ever happened to "The HP Way" amazing.

Phil Davis and Chris Ogburn were so good at Copying and advocating the Amazon Way that a few months ago they left HPE and actually were able to get new jobs at Amazon. With Chris being labeled a Marketing Genius (WTF).

So now "Power Point" is the reason for HPE failure vs poor executive leadership and execution.

It is only a failure when you put the wrong names in the org chart boxes and have too many layers of executives / management teams that do not know what business they are in or should be in and what customers.....
