Imagine if Airline Mechanics and Inspectors had the same work ethic as the Car Department, would you want to fly?
Or maybe a Train doesnt really need inspecting. I mean there not dangerous are they? Whats the worse that could happen?
Maybe UP should just contract that whole department out. Just an opinion of a UP conductor out of Mira Loma

Car Department employees are very much needed what is not needed is the managers and senior managers in the car department but again by 2021 conductors will be phased out also only 1 person per locomotive
