If anyone got BE multiple TIMES and still with the Bank, then there is something seriously wrong with the system. It's that time now to think about those managers who are playing fool with the firm.

Well this is do or die situation, if managers do not give BE, they get BE. If they still don’t take part they get fire now, no lay-off “FIRE”! Means worst than lay-off.
@dhrd+15QK2QMA-Our supervisor refused to give it. He showed us the emails and said it's BS and he wouldn't take part. If you have a spine you get laid off here, if you're a coward you stay. Charlie was a hack, but I do believe he exposed with his layoff/performance review policy how cunning, vindictive, and utterly incompetent management is at BNYM.
How would anyone bear such an indignity! Given to the current situation it’s completely understandable, however, the level of INSULT seems to be unbearable. Good Luck!
If we don't give BE, we've been told that we will get the BE. So what would you do? And if you say you'd stand your ground you're a liar.
Well, not all is bad at BNY, company itself is amazing with tons of benefit, it's just few middle management who are acting like a parasites and leading towards destruction. If company make changes on LOB leaders, should should be fine. Core LOB leaders needs to go, they have no idea what people below can do and people above can do.
BNYM slogan should be, "We are BNYM, where fair is foul, and foul is fair."
Our Supervisor refused to give a BE and he was laid off. He held a meeting with us on how wrong it was and he wasn't going to participate in it. Managers at BNYM are so cowardly, if they have no principles it's just about survival for them and nothing else. We lost a great supervisor because of BS policies. You stand up for what's right and you lose your job, listen to the clown show above you and you're rewarded. Such a trash company to work for.
I put 8 fingers in active, believe me. However 7 of those fingers are on one hand.
I was humiliated for working hard and trying to improve the system. Now working as Sr. Cloud Developer in one of the most prestigious company, they are now sending email saying they are hiring Azure Cloud Specialist ha ha ha!
Know the people while they are with you, if not you will fail. Bank need people who can work, not who can just talk, you need people who put 8 fingers in action on their keyboard NOT the one who puts 1 finger in action.
Parasites only s—s the blood, Bank needs those trees that give fruits. But due to these parasites, all trees disappeared.
K–l or be k–led is the motto here. Do you stand up, have a back bone, or do you go with the flow? The consequences are bad either way.
We had a manager who refused to give a BE to someone who didn't deserve it, and he was laid off in the next round of cuts.
I'm tired of hearing from managers how it was 'forced'. Have a backbone, you could have pushed back. Tired of hearing nonsense that you couldn't .
Not when BE’s are forced upon managers. We had no choice. We had to do it. If we didn’t, we were BE. See how that works?
I feel bad for those guys who are too scared of layoff and coming out of that hell, they have no idea how beautiful the world outside is.
For me my health is more important, somehow I have get out of that he'll, my blood pressure goes up whenever I think of those days. I sometimes cross that building and don’t miss a thing, it was that bad.
Yep.... I challenged them too. Got a mighty fine payoff and a better role. Gotta love these id–ts when they play in to your hands.
Ratings at bny are a joke. A real joke. Starting at the top....who would not be achieving expectations? Answer is most of the executive and senior leadership. That's why nobody wants to work for the organisation (unless you are one of the WIN crowd that use their agenda for personal self promotion).
Let me tell you what I did. I got a BE and a bad write up from this d—beat manager I used to work for, so I posted out of the dept and accepted a new role with a new team. I got the new manager to reverse the BE so I could get my bonus for the year. Hows that for working the system? It was a sweet bonus too. Used it for a down payment for a new SUV. How s that for playing fool with the firm??? :-) Old manager flipped his biscuits when I left the team. Tried to get me to continue my responsibilities I had in my old role once I was settled into the new role. HA! These managers think they have all the power to do whatever the hell they want. Then someone like me comes along to rock the boat and stick up for myself. Its amazing how fast they crumble when confronted and challenged.
