Please let me get a low grade on these assessments....

You won’t necessarily receive the severance plan for failing the assessment. Especially if on purpose. Read the updated severance plan under benefits. It was updated this month
Those are fighting words Glen....
You couldn't get a high score if you tried. That's why your telling the smart employees to not try. So you have a fighting chance.

That’s my plan. 22 years as auto tech, 2nd time within short time span in which feel job is in jeopardy. Take my severance package, few weeks/months off. Then return back to bodyshop where I will once again tap into the Allstate bank on a regular basis.
I would be that a low score will be moved to a new position rather than let go... They know your skills are limited and they can keep you for less money than someone else and then drive you like a mule for another decade.
No packages... Why would they... they are cutting costs. I heard this from a Sr. manager.
30% of what criteria? And what package? My department has not been told anything about the assessments or future plans. Seems to be select areas that are told, maybe?
You can get a 0% by not taking it. And have a 0% for 30% of the criteria. This should help you not be selected if that is your desired outcome. If not selected you will still receive a package.
