Did any other offices get a notice that Allstate would be issuing webcams to their employees while working from home? Seems pointless if they're making cuts.

This one’s tinfoil hat territory. You might get a webcam if you’re using a desktop, but no ones going to sit and watch you all day.
We’re actively being discouraged from using the webcams on our laptops to keep bandwidth available on the network, and the Good Life people even handed branded little windows that cover up the camera.
Your laptop has a camera. You're watched as much now as you were in the office.
If you have a company issued computer then they're already "watching" you.
Will they be watching us?
