Unrepped

Do you think urepped major would be affected the same as moderate or LDU? There usually much lower in head count than the other teams.

So they have a resegmenting of bodily injury claims that is rolling out now and through August... is this part of the plan of reducing heads or is this just a coincidence and the typical one arm of the company doesn’t know what the other is doing? I mean potentially the people working on this new segmentation plan could also be on the block .. insanity at its best

It is safe to say that if you are affiliated with claims in any way you are potentially on the block. All aspects, functions, and head count of claims related and functioning areas is being reviewed and addressed as part of this.

The liability tool is awful... there is absolutely no place to explain your reasoning so you still have to write a big file note anyway

Corporate is under the false assumption that their new liability program is making liability claims faster to work. Wrong! There are added steps, it’s takes longer to figure out what is happening in the claim if someone calls for information and just adds to your work. Someone sold the higher ups a pipe dream and delivered a disaster. But we just smile dutifully and say it’s great. B-S!!

I was just recently hired into LDU in March along with about 30 others. Why on earth would they do that? I should have stayed in my old position.

LDU will all be centralized to hubs. Chicago, Charlotte, Arizona. You may still be housed in your office if it remains open or you may be remote. You will take a course and need to take the test regardless of your state requiring a license. You will have the same training and chance at passing as other state employees.

What if I am an adjuster for states that don’t require licenses. Will that put me at a disadvantage? Do we know where LDU will be centralized ?

LDU is downsizing due to the merger / lack of need for so many LDU adjusters. All will be centralized and handling all states. If you cannot pass your licensing after 2 tries, you are also let go.

Unrepped major employees are being let go in all regions. Repped major / moderate will be handing whatever claims they receive. Unrepped moderate will be trained on major.
