Found out you may not have to sign the agreement to get the Severance benefit. The agreement is really hostile and may impact retirement benefits as I read. Check out http://arizonaemploymentattorney.net/10-employee-mistakes-severance/ for some thoughts on the matter.
I am using HKM Employment Lawyers. for $475.00 you get a review of the documents and a 1 hr strategy meeting. The Separation doc clearly states you release all claims of any nature. Pretty scary stuff. You need a Lawyer. My meeting is tomorrow the 22nd. Will not sign if at all sketchy. Know of several others that just signed not knowing what the document was saying.

The separation agreement is for your severance pay and doesn't have anything to do with pension. Sign up as a new user at the above link for info about your pension. You cannot begin your pension until your severance has ended. You can sign up on the website about two months ahead of time and choose a start date for your pension that begins after your severance pay has ended.
The Severance Separation Agreement is pretty hard to interpret as written with regard to continued benefits (pension), Does any one know of an attorney with experience to interpret the document?
