Not a good idea to wait for Jenks to come back .. locomotives that moved in were already in the “pipeline” .. Jenks will only be first shift and about 1/2 of what it was . No plans for more Jenks work .. plan is to have running repair shops handle their own heavy work with no program or OH’s scheduled . Nobody will come back until carloads come back and then it will be short lived.

Most likely their lips were tightly vacuum sealed and didn’t leak a drop.
The word on the street is they will have two shifts. Most will get called back but maybe I’m multiple waves. The HHP engines have continued to be delivered so that work is sitting and waiting. This is all subject to change if the economy doesn’t come back.
They will definitely call most back but I think they will only have 1st shift.
Supposed to know something next week.

They will always call back less than they furloughed, it is a pattern. When the last one of a craft is gone, they will never return, also a pattern.
Hear the jenks director had a meeting the other day was told to hire back 100% the people he needed to get the remaining work done. Whether thats all that was furloughed or not. Hopefully our union leaders are fighting to get everyone called back and not under the desk saying yes sir.
Yea.......I heard they closed the shop. But don’t tell anybody cause I’m not supposed to say anything. That’s what my sisters boyfriends cousin told me
