I knew something was wrong when *Tom recently wore a pink sweater. He was hinting “pink slips” coming. He’s old fashioned like that.
*He/Glenn also stopped letting us have cake on our office monthly birthday celebrations.
*Last year when he Glenn first had an idea to cut, he cut our coffee.

Oh my goodness you are totally ridiculous and those of you who don't work at all State anymore we don't need your two cents as we're going through this. We don't know why you were terminated so you could be just an disgruntled ex-employee and who cares about coffee that's the problem me me me me
I been at Allstate for 9 years in a personal lines MCO office. There has never been coffee provided unless it is an office wide meeting. $0.25 in the breakroom or bring your kcup.
When I worked at Allstate (just before the layoff a couple years ago) I went to grab coffee but there were no cups. I was given ONE paper cup and told that's it just one. Seriously thought it was a joke but it wasnt, they said supplying cups was discontinued. That is pathetic just was the thankless job.
I don't think Allstate randomly d–g tests, only for pre-employment and in cases of suspicion. I could be wrong, though. Seems like it's just naither cost they don't want to have to deal with.
I’ve never worked anywhere that didn’t have complementary coffee for employees. And I’ve worked at a lot of places.
We went from nice toilet paper to the generic single ply scratchy stuff and brown commercial paper towels.
Do they d–g test your office??
