Yes, Chase will have a HUGE RIF this year!!! Most likely around September.
Big banks putting up billions in reserves for credit losses definitely means layoffs are imminent. I see it as a publicity stunt now, they don't want to look bad.
Layoffs happened in New York last month in the Office of the Corporate Secretary. I assume there will be more this month. The rumor is that notifications will be made this month for end dates in September for other groups.
Location or general geographic area?
I have a meeting with my manager tomorrow which is the day when they're notifying for the third wave of layoffs. So I'm probably a gonner lol
