There is a new reality made of social distancing, masks, enterprises are operating at 40% of its capacity, decline in demand, this could last for awhile, unless a vaccine is invented, approve, and commercialized.
Modern economy is interdependent, where each sector creates demand on the other, and the fall of one sector could unleash domino affect, and lead to atmosphere of doubt and uncertainty.
As such you should expect layoff at point of time.
Every quarter.. expect some action.
