Yes, it's true all call center reps including customer service, telesales, lnp etc... have been told the centers are closed and will be permanently working from home. Officially speaking this will start on Oct 1st. Since stores are being closed store reps have been given options to relocate, go to telesales (WFH) or take a severance. This same offer should be given to call center reps too.
Can’t wait for them to tell us to collect our personal belongings from the office :)
East 4040!
West 2020!
Using COVID as cover to reduce headcount. Can only xfer to HBA based on performance and no HR issues. Gearing up for prez party change which will implement immediate $15 per hour min wage. The best offense is a good defense.
Not just agents, and yes the CWA wants to control agents in buildings still. That has not been decided yet.
Yup. Now Verlieson can quietly cut call center reps and no one will know.
Home based agent. Try google you could learn a lot. Article from CWA says couple thousand jobs will be gone
Absolutely. That's the point.
What I am wondering is will there be any layoffs in these call taker positions?
And so it starts
Divide and conquer
HBA?
It is true!
