When or what is going to happen next? I hate this waiting day to day bs! Are we or are we not getting an assessment? Once that is done, when will we know anything? I need answers!

Everyone in an affected role will get an assessment but you would be a fool not to think that areas have already cherry picked who they want to keep based on PDS, how they know and like you, younger age, and the like. For most areas the assessments are just a sideshow to protect against lawsuits.
The issue is whether your job is redundant or slated for cuts or elimination. I don’t think having exceeds ratings will keep you from getting an assessment. But, it will give you a huge boost over your peers as performance comprises 65% of the overall score. Good luck,
Is it not the case that if one person in your role gets an assessment then everyone does? I thought it was an all or nothing kind of situation.
So chances are that if I got better than expected I shouldn’t get an assessment!
Expected rating makes up about 60-70% of the total ratings so it would not be anything that really stands out as safe or in trouble. They will likely be looking at the attitudes and behavioral questions of the assessments for those who are rated expected on their prior 2 PDS in term of standouts good or bad.
Expected is average in terms of the assessments I would think since it is in the middle of "Better Than Expected" and "Inconsistent" although it really depends on who you are competing against.
Anyone know if a PDS review of “Expected” considered a positive or negative review?
Anyone hear of any assessments in property claims? No one has received any as of yet in Ohio.
This is an awful company. Start looking for a new job, cut your losses and get the hell out of there asap. I wouldn't lose another night of sleep. Make the decision to leave and apply for every job that you can. You will feel so much better and will end up working for a better company.
Assessments are being done in areas and in most regions in some capacity. There are still assessments to be announced and done while others will not get any assessment and their movement to another role or flat out lay off will be communicated.
Claims is supposed to find out by the end of the month who will be affected. Whatever the plan is, it's with HR now.
I know of several who have taken their assessments already, some friends have been told they will get them but not just yet.
Does anyone know when the assessments will be given out, or will it vary based on role and location? I had heard they were on a legal hold so I don't even know what to think now.
Allstate is a Sh–show right now. They are leaving their employees high and dry with very little information. Even upper management is just waiting on the next little
Piece of information to convey. Sitting in on the tier two is a disaster of minimal info and even less answers. Good luck fellow employees, such a bad time to be “restructuring” when the top of the ladder keeps cashing in...
If you get an assessment you current role is still there but being reduced and they will keep the "best of the best" based on assessment results.
If you do not receive assessment then your job is either not impacted and you will not be affected. Or your job is being eliminated altogether and you will receive a straight lay off or placed in another role via lift and shift (not common but has been done in previous layoffs).
Not everyone will receive assessments. It is role by role based depending on if your role is being eliminated, kept at its current staffing and unaffected, or kept but with reduction of headcount.
They said the process will take until the end of September and they plan to be finalized by November. I don't remember if it was said the first of November or the end of November. It's going to be a long, miserable, hot summer.
Feel free to correct me, if I'm confused.
