For the non -oracle owned buildings, Is oracle still paying rent.
IF only they announce some hikes which I haven't got from past 3 years during this dull period, would be nice, instead of paying for empty buildings!
Hope the immortal administrators and Managers at Oracle can take a call!

I think, these buildings might be leased. O might close buildings once building leases are ending.
In addition, they might reduce the employees in these leased buildings.
Talking about Pay raises, you will never get a pay raise even if HQ buildings are closed.
Hold on to your job. Keep your profile good for other companies to hire and ask for 30-50% raise when you move out to another company.
Another Option, learn from Oracle products, develop a similar product personally and win the market. See Salesforce for example. Oracle will take years to come up with a new product with its bureaucracy.
By that time, you will be CEO.
But Beware, All companies are moving to performance analysis mode. Oracle is no exception. Soon there will be more layoffs and more hiring. Get ready for the new wave.
