"Dear Valued Employees,
As you may be aware, there was a technical error in processing recent pay increases on July 1, 2020. This resulted in employees receiving an incorrect rate of pay on your check dated July 9, 2020.
We had anticipated that this error would be rectified by your check dated July 16, 2020, however AskHR has notified us that the correction will not be made until your check dated July 23, 2020.
You will receive the appropriate retro pay on your check dated July 30, 2020.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your manager or me personally."
From an HR lady.
So there was a payroll glitch that instead of everyone getting their regular pay–we are all getting minimum wage. Bus drivers are barely making tips and now they are making less. Morale is dangerously low. Don't know if it is the same situation at Hertz at the airport because they are union.
