I was part of the lay off and submitted a case to AskHR before 6/30 since they got my years worked wrong for my severance. Finally today I received an email saying there was a resolution. When I logged into Insite as a former colleague, I have no access to AskHR to find out how my case was resolved. Any ideas? I've tried calling, but only have an hour for lunch from my full time job and I am on hold the whole time.

You may have to get a temporary password to use as a former employee. I called HR at night and was on hold for over 2 hours. when I finally got through, I was given totally wrong information. I still haven't gotten any information on Cobra, the term letter, severance numbers and a list of the seniority and birthdates of those laid off. Macys Inc is required by law and the warn Act to give us. Try sending an email to Jeff Gennette.
Change your password...that’s all you need to do. But do it from the sign in page.
What option did you ask for when you called the help desk? i have the same problem with my insite access....password reset tells you do do online
Call IT help desk at 678-474-2300. I couldn't get on Insite a few days ago so I called and talked to someone who reset my access and have me a new password over the phone. The only helpful department though.
HR Colleague Support Line is a joke. Over 90 minute wait to get through an no answers to my questions. As bad as trying to call the unemployment office! Then I was told to call the benefits help line which was faster, but was like talking to credit customer service...around in circles and no help or answers.
Your severance is based on your last. Of continuous Service as a regular employee. If you had a break in service of 91 days or more time prior to that break does not count towards your severance years
I have experienced the same thing.
If you call the Macy’s Herald Square There in-house HR Can assist you..It’s impossible to get through to Colleague Support.As far as navigating insite opening up a case is not available anymore.
