Does anyone have any details on this OR batch? Heard about from my line manager after being told I was unmapped for Avanti, and they spoke about it briefly in today's global wells townhall.

Upstream needs to be gutted. Projects with 10 year ROIs - those days are gone. Organizations with no P&L accountability (Finance, HR, P&T, C&P) can easily be offshored with significant reductions in redundancies. They’ve already done this albeit half a–. I expect them to complete the job. If you aren’t directly tied to bringing in revenue to the P&L, expect to have your role eliminated.
The problem at Shell is they move the jobs overseas, but not the brain power. They cuts heads, but not process.

P&T is huge. Part of it had a re-org just a year ago (development). While re-orging, work often slows down to a crawl.
But! No way to cut managers without MORs. So gotta make everyone play the same game.
I know P&T will be going through the MOR between July and the end of the year. My group will be between July-August once the numbers from the SVS are known. I have a feeling this one will be the deepest since all this started a few years ago. Hang on to you hats-this one will be a doozy.
One question I have.....will this impact above JG2? I guess time will tell.
