Dude the board is the main problem, look at the issues the have have been around as long as the board 4 CEO’s common element the board.
Why are people still thinking Hertz will survive? Every indicator from Estero is that they are done. There is no further for Hertz the sooner you accept sooner you start moving on. The people in the eqsership roles do not have the capacity to get the job done as they have no experience in this space. It’s like taking a company IPO you need leaders who have done that before. There is no one with experience saving a company from bankruptcy. The board knows that so why have they not taken action?
As a current Hertz employee, I've done and will continue to do what I can to save this organization that so many have built over the years. I don't do that for the senior execs. I do that so the people I lead will remain employed and be able to feed their families. I do that so they have one less week of facing an uncertain future on enemployment! Our odds are 50/50 surviving this. But, every week I can approve my teams payroll in ADP is a win to me!

Good question. Sounds like it would save a lot on payroll to fire you and let Instacart take care of it. Let's save that spot for someone who proactively seeks to make themselves useful.
Hertz don’t give a damn about there employees, they never have and never will, that sounds pretty degrading to be doing balloon delivery just so hertz can make a couple dollars.
