How do I know if I’m laid off?

I’m older (over 50) I’m not a high performer just 3’s been told or warned of being a 2. I make high mid grade salary for my grade. I’ve also not been doing well lately. Would management assume I should be laid off? I’ve been here for over 10 - 15 years and feel like I’m over this bullying (3+ years) and want my package. Can I expect it soon? Do I have to go on a CAP to get it? I’m willing to wait and pluck my pay check as funds doing nothing until they lay me the F-off. I’m so over this place. I’ve tried believe me I have tried, but I’m done trying now. I just want out, but COVID prevented my exit.

I was sort of in same boat but I became so exasperated in January that I up and quit! Then boom 💥 Covina-19 made a surprise appearance. I just started receiving unemployment benefits last week!! 🤣

I'm just guessing that if you get a CAP they'll find a way for you to fail that and be terminated rather than being laid off with a package. 10-15 years would be a tidy severance package.
I worked with several people who were coasting toward retirement and praying for a package. Meanwhile, I was working 60 hour work weeks. They are still there, and still coasting, while I was laid off. Go figure.
