Forget about Mark in the Oracle context. Layoffs have happened at Oracle long before Mark joined. Absolutely has nothing to do with Mark. Oracle has historically made all of its big org changes in June going back to the early 2000's.
MH is gone, but his legacy continues.....

THE H1B PROGRAM IS RACIST
It hurts all American citizens, especially people of color. 85,000 visas per year are 85,000 US citizens denied a job they are qualified for, when there are 40 millions Americans out of work. Stop the H1B visas now! Tell your senators to vote NO on S.386!
It's only just begun. The lull in layoffs is because of covid. It will continue with full fury once the mourning period is over. Economy will not recover for years. Oracle is toast.
