Must be talking about unemployment. Which you can get, I did. Was a soot for “reduction of hours”. Possibly Covid specific. But I think the federal $600 was supposed to expire 6/1??

I love furlough. Get paid, hopefully with federal bonus. Do no work. Like vacation.

HCE will be doing a few dozen layoffs next week as well. I haven’t heard anything on more furloughs

Commenting on group: HCE (Honeywell Connected Enterprise) flagship software center in Atlanta. Confirming more furloughs. We will make it thru end of 2Q without taking another one. But watch for 3Q furlough announcement and depending how the company is doing may be one in 4Q as well. Had layoffs in May. Watch for more in 3Q so they can continue to dump underperforming, unneeded resources (because they do not plan well, continue to change direction). This group goes through people like water. I have watched at least 3 major reorgs and dumping of some very good people.

Why would anyone be surprised? Despite Honeywell stocks are still performing way better than their peers, job cuts will always remain a usual norm.
Honeywell isn't a charitable organisation therefore do not expect that it will act in preserving your job.
