Despite touting no jobs would be eliminated post merger T-Mobile continues their clearcutting. Last time it was T-vision now it's front line and care. The hits just keep coming with these bozo's while John is laughing all the way to the bank. Additionally, they cut multiple oversees service partner call centers. While those are not directly tied to T-mobile it still goes to show the level of greed post merger. New cuts effective mid August.

Is anyone hearing of even more layoffs these next 90 days?
Freier was ominous on his last field call May 7th.
The fact that you think "nothing happened" after financial controls left. Recent reporting says you are wrong.
What part isn’t true?
The serial commenter before this is a dingbat and a stooge.
Jon Freier is really a good guy. I know some of you whiny people don’t like him, but you forgot to say that he inherited a fat mess at Metro and was in an impossible business position. Losing customers. COMPLETELY over bloated with people. Too many layers. Two people reporting to someone who reported to someone with two people. It was totally dumb. All those “Financial Controls” people left and absolutely nothing happened! Complete dead weight where people were doing nothing to impact operations. We always knew that, but no one would ever do anything about it.
The business is now growing, the best growing prepaid brand in 2020, and things are so much stable. Don’t tell me about the others doing a great job before. Metro was this small piss ant company in like 10 markets that expanded to the rest of the US thanks to TMO acquiring MetroPCS. Then the old crew hit a wall and didn’t know what to do. Enter Jon Frier...
Jon Freier, the most heartless, arrogant, lying SOB I've ever come across in my 30 year career.
Liar Freier pants on fire! That guy is single-handedly responsible for ending thousands of Metro by TMobile careers!
actually to the post below saying Tmo never said layoffs wouldn't happen. Jon Freier specifically said on two of his calls roles below Director would not be affected. They also struck deals with a few states promising minimal layoffs. What happened the last 72hrs was not minimal hence why they had to give 60 days notice under the WARN act! They lied that's why Legere exited so quick so he didn't have to speak on all this bloodshed.
The person from Post ID: @8zwi+15ny0XOR must practice that answer every day since John was asked about that in the first hearing.
? When did they say they would NOT let anyone go? They never said there would not be layoffs. They said it would result in a net-add, by the end of 2024 of 11k employees. That doesn't mean there will not be change from Yellow+Magenta to NewTMO.
Post the articles where they said they wouldn't let anyone go. Anyone that believe that and couldn't read between the lines is a f—ing mo–n.
What about severance?
The layoffs will total in the thousands with not a word to the employees from the SR leadership and no statement to the press as they are keeping this very quiet. It is very clear we were lied to and the government was lied to about the impact of the merger on jobs. The sad thing is that most of us were naive and believed. For Sprint folks, we need a special, ”I got bought out by T Mobile and all I got was this lousy T Shirt” shirt we can buy through the employee store before we leave.
I am very sad today.
I heard lots of Zone managers got fired today...tomorrow its the fate of DMs. This is crazy. What happened all the essential Authorized dealers that risked their lives during Covid19 to keep doors open. Guess what...most of them got 120 day termination letters.
All business inside sales- legacy Sprint- across 4 centers, laid off today. Comment during the less than 10 minute layoff call that 200 jobs will post. (Posted as of 3am). Job descriptions updated to reflect support of front line via appt setting/ lead Gen. If you're applying, may the odds be ever in your favor✌🏽 And prayers to all affected!!
Fired all business inside sales employees today. 1000+ employees. Employees were told our jobs were safe and business sales was an important part of the merger. Wrong.
Let dozens of Metro field Acct/Zone Managers go today with hundreds of more cuts coming tomorrow (Tuesday) to field sales teams. T-Mobile doing EXACTLY what they said they would NOT do. Stood before FCC and DOJ and basically lied to help the merger get approved.
Of course they'll say they're adding jobs (see 9 buck an hour call center folk and pink shirts in retail stores). Terrible. It's a bloodbath this week.
let all bizo employees go today. across all enterprise teams, no outside sales at all.
TM = team manager. Care org (non call center) got hit Wednesday.
Sh– thing is they made zero mention of any org changes, nor addressed the layoffs on today’s Callie call for coach level above. Just more D&I browbeating.
what is TM level?
Which call centers?
I heard today from a few employees that they released a number of folks from state side call centers a few hours ago. Mostly Coach and TM level as i understand it.
