I mean your worried about merrit increases...? What planet are you people living on. Your stocks trash, earnings are a drought, selling stores and laying off by the thousands. I mean if you dont see the righting on the wall by now... I wouldnt worry about merrit increases. I'd be updating my resume if I where any of you poor saps.
Gee, complaining OP, no response? No acknowledgement this is what happened? Crickets .....👎
Sorry, edited to say:
the end of the 2018 lump sum wasn't replaced with a 2019 review lump Doewas over the max for several years so I know how this works.
Ok folks.....calm down.
The OP is over the max for his wage grade. What he's talking about is his merit for his 2018 review. He didn't get an incremental raise last year because he was over the max, so his merit for that review was given to him in the form of 25 cents an hour for each hour he worked each week from May 2019 until May 2020, paid weekly as a SEPARATE line item in his check advice. That lump sum was ALREADY SCHEDULED TO END in May 2020. If he had received his review and merit for 2019, and he was still over the max, that merit for 2019 could have gone up or down based on his review rating. Because we didn't get our raises this year for the 2019 review, the end of the 2018 lump sum wasn't replaced with a 2018 review lump Doewas over the max for several years so I know how this works. Macy's didn't take anything away from you that already wasn't scheduled to END after the one year merit period was over!
I read last week on Insight that they were going to do that and yes the whole .25 an hour is gone.
I thought we weren't getting merit increases right now and they were reassessing in the fall?
What a whole 25cents....they can keep it....another insult...
Don't you know our merit increases went to the executive bonuses?
when did you open i have not seen a merit increase in my check.
