And why is no one talking about the point system??? I personally think it's about time, but weird there has been no vocal communication about it, except in the new Employee Handbook you are required to sign off on.

So if your already 8 minutes over then just take your time and show up 2 hours late.....lol
Banned from working in a departments building because they can’t trust you? Is this something that happens often? I don’t know if I’ve heard that one.
Is this handbook on seaport or on seashare anywhere?
Good to see its only for attendance type issues. Doesn't actually address poor performance. Or when you get banned from working in a department's building because they can't trust you.
You start out with 0 points.
Tardy is 1 point (8 min late)
Late arrival/early departure is 3 points (8 min to 2 hours late)
Unauthorized absence 5 points
No call no show 10 points
5 points is a verbal warning
10 points is a written warning
15 points is a final warning
16 or more is termination
Rolling 6 month period
So the more points you get the more "safe" you are from layoffs?
And yet it makes no change for people who are there that are protected by their leadership. i know of several people that were "favorites" and were issues but because they had protection they were immune to discipline regardless of points or no points.
Getting rid of team members was too subjective before. Being told by HR to give the same team members their third “first and final” was frustrating for managers, as well as other team members who had to constantly cover for them.
What is the points system?
Did anyone save a copy of the new policy’s ???
Points again?!? Lol
What is the point system?
Oh they finally implemented it? I heard it was coming like well over a year ago.
Seems like a lot of systems are being added/changed while everyone is out of work who could give feedback on it.
