Be Careful Changing To Part Time

I had really been thinking of going to the 32 hour schedule because depending on how much they up the hourly I may not miss that much and could make it up doing something on the side. However, did you notice in the training when you click the 40 hour option it says “Did you know the 32 hour schedule offers basically the same benefits as the 40 hour schedule?”. They are obviously pushing the 32 hour schedule for a reason and this makes me want to do it less. It will obviously benefit them and not me in the long run or they wouldn’t be pushing it. They are doing a nice job selling it though. I’m not going to choose anything until they give me numbers. I’m sure they will let me move down later on if that’s what they really want. Don’t get sold just yet!! Get the numbers first!

Yeah I was offered part time once as an alternative to using intermittent fml but I didn’t accept the offer until I researched it and ur benefits as far as health care change if u are part time. U don’t get as many vacation and personal hours and I believe it effects ur discount off ur Verizon Bill ain’t can’t remember that part. It’s been a few years but there were a lot of negatives to going to part time that we’re behind the scenes that weren’t disclosed when it was mentioned to me. I just kept using my intermittent fml instead

The hourly raise will be more than a 2 dollars for most. Most reps will be making 22 an hour or more.

Depending on your salary and at risk most reps will see a 2.00-3.00 per hour salary bump with a new team at risk of about 900.00. Cutting back from 40 to 32 hours could see up to $200 less in pay per week for reps. If you can afford to do that then hey more power to ya.

Once you go off 40 hours you will never get it back. Krista said that on the Thursday call.
