Any news about Ivantage commercial? Any layoffs?
I bet that there are no layoffs in Pune India where Allstate is shifting a lot of work. Allstate has people in India writing estimates off of photos for their Quick Foto Claims process. This certainly has taken jobs away from the USA... sad
I prefer to get an email at home if laid off. The last place I want to be is in a building that is laying off employees active during work hours. I can’t imagine employees leaving with boxes crying walking out the door with security....I hope nobody flips out - We are in a pandemic people are getting desperate.

The newspeak didn't end there. A "strategic bench" is going to be set up where they are going to put people marked for the chop after taking them out of their teams presumably for as long as is needed for the notice period.
They should sack whoever came up with such ridiculous language first as they are clearly useless wastes of human skin.
I just learned my department the "Data Science Research and Technology" are too important to be laid-off.
