FBGBU (Food & Beverage) layoffs this am. Across all departments. Hospitality took a hit because of COVID. Kept everyone through Q4 to pull in orders from Q1 and then BOOM! Thank you very much! 10+ years and been asked to get off this ride...

FYI The entire Marham office is closed with all employees losing their jobs. So much for those who said on this page that Oracle would not Layoff
This layoff is not just tied to the F&B group. Across many GBU's, as well as Oracle Enterprise. Not over.
Entire Arizona dev department Eng + QA and the entire tech support got laid off. Alot of people work over 10 years there.
12 employees in the office in Markham, Ontario, Canada, have been summoned to a meeting through Zoom, with a manager in the US, where they were related the sad news.
All of them work on Simphony, 3700, 9700, reporting and analytics.
In the US, senior technical analysts, hardware team were laid off.
They let half the Canada and Orlando office go, closed Utah and Arizona, and let go some agents in Columbia MD. Not sure if it’s over....not much left to let go at this point, least not in support.
No word from management, team meetings were canceled yesterday.
Most customers dislike Micros when Oracle acquired the company. Why stay this long to be a statistics...should have left a long time ago.
We were hit hard as well one of my co-workers who has heart problems was let go after nearly 20 years with the company. Its sad but, why now because now most of us will not qualify for Pandemic unemployment.
Yep I was on the “list as well” heart sick !
Everyone even my boss blindsided. We are all nervous. No details internally, just a constant stream if goodbye emails.
Not even hour after the layoffs started, managers sent out emails asking everyone to be available for calls because a queue had formed. Good luck with that!
