Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Deplorable approach

AIG is a worthless company for anyone other than an elite few. Who by the way are there simply to pilfer the coffers. The absolute waste of time consumed by employees contemplating their ultimate demise with this company is inhumane. Cruel. And continues year after year. Put pencil to paper and decide how when and where the downsizing will occur - inform the working class - and run the company with integrity. Oh, I forgot, it’s impossible for AIG to be straightforward and humane. Good luck to the remaining US workers.

All I know is that they just laid off people yesterday right after Father's Day. They promised no rifts until the pandemic is over and people will get advanced notice. They called the people working hard from home yesterday and told them today is their last day. They had a few hours to get what they need before they cut them off. How cold and cruel - What a bunch of liars. What is this world going to? It seem those who lies a lot, have no integrity, morals or scrupples gets the big paycheck. If this what their parents taught them - shame on them - all bad karma that will come back to them. They line their pockets with blood money earned by hard working people, they sit there like lazy ugy fat cats, give themselves big raises and bonuses, say they themselves did a fantastic job. Meanwhile those who work hard and are struggling to make a living to are given pennies and are expected to be grateful for the crumbs they give if any. If someone challenges and have integrity, they are eliminated, hoping they will have only followers left to support them. These executives are very selective in who gets the sweet pot, only their friends and lackeys who do their dirty work get it. There got to be a better world out there. Is AIG as an representative corporate example to follow - where is the SEC, Regulators and PwC? This is the decay of the great AIG, like Rome will come to a crash. How any one be proud to say yes AIG is a great company to work for. Our Senior executives lies to us all the time and give themselves great raises and bonuses while we get a few crumbs if any. All you have to do is to support them like a loyal dog to get a small paycheck and whatever little bonus they may give you. When they want, they can kick you out with no regards to how hard you work, how loyal you were and how much you struggle to support your family. There is no regards on how the remaining people will be able to do your work. They spend a lot of money on getting one consulting companies after another to get them to be the blame guy when they rifted people saying they are they one who proposed the layoff and propose big pay off to the Senior Executives. These consulting expenses spent are in the millions, which could be saved. You know when these excutives get the can, they are laughing to the bank - they get full everything for 2 whole years. They are looking forward to getting canned. The current bunch of executives are all crooks who think they are above the law - it is FRAUD, THIEVERY, ILLEGAL, INHUMAN and SINFUL!!!!! Why do we all sit here and accept these bad people and let them take advantage of us. They should go to jail. AIG is going down fast and furious.

I heard they have one of those prize wheels you see at fairs/ carnivals. Instead they put names on it and make it a RIF wheel, each week they have a zoom meeting and do 40 to 50 spins....

For fun they put their own names up in gold and if it lands on their name, they get a real gold bar as a prize, or maybe it is an extra 5% of STI....

AIG, where who you know determines 100% of your success and meritocracy doesn't mean sh*t
